Holly was fortunate enough to take a huge black bear while using your bacon bait
bells. The bait station produced 6 large black bears in a period of 5 days.
Every time we took a bear off the station, another was there to take it's place
within a matter of minutes. We eventually ran out of black bear tags to fill
since we were hunting in a one bear unit.
I've been bear baiting a long time and killed many bears over bait. This year, I
started using the Baitem scent bells and have seen excellent results. The bait
station brought bears in faster than any other bait I've used. I had bears on
the station within an hour after construction of the bait site.

While making bait I turned to see this critter! Little too
close for comfort!

The Scent Bells you guys make
are great! We have like four bears so far at our stand and it all started
right after we put up your Scent Bells. Thanks again for producing these.

One more set I noticed I had the pic of my
bud sideways!!! Oh and by the way I am a firm believer that the scent bell
we got from baitem907 had a helping hand in this we hung the scent bell up
about the time we got all the hits. Thank you baitem907!!! and keep up the
good work!!!

Reptiles In Alaska ?? Look Closely
We were sent this picture and asked to try and
figure out what kind of animal it is... by the looks of it, its a hissing
antler. Use extreme caution when approaching your bait !! |

Thanks in no small part to Bait Em 907, I was able to harvest this sow. After
two years of baiting and seeing no bears, this year Bait Em 907 brought her in.
Not a record bear but my first bear and first archery big game animal. Thanks
again to Bait Em 907.

Thanks to BaitEm907 Products I was able to shoot me a nice black bear with my
bow. The Scent Ball really brings them in! Thank you Jess for the awesome
products and service. Just make sure to hang the ball up high enough and far out
enough on a branch, they started to nibble on mine! The bears love them!
Thanks Lance
Finally got an idea on the size of the bear, measured it last
night it was about 6' 6" and squared out at over 7', these aren't "official"
just a quick measurement as its getting tanned currently. My dad got a nice
small sow the other night, didn't run but 10-15 yards and fell over and gave out
the most scariest yet awesome death moan I've ever heard. He shot it with his
Bushmaster XM-15 in 6.8mm SPC w/ 110 grain bullets, layed the smack down on the
bear! I fleshed and turned her last night and we got her in the tanner(buddy is
a taxidermist) by 130am, getting a shoulder mount done on her. |

This was our 2nd year baiting in this particular area. Last year was a
bust
due in part to our bait location and timing, based on food consumption we
estimated 1-2 bears max at our site for the year. This year we moved our
site approx. 1/2 mile, bought a trail cam to pattern the activity and
invested in baitem907 scent (the hang in a tree type). We had pictures of
10+ different bears at our bait. I have a hard time believing this great of
a change in activity is due to a 1/2 mile difference, I believe this has a
lot to do with our new scent lure. We were able to harvest 2 bears on the
same night, not once but twice. Thank you for your product and customer
service, both are incredible.

Thanks for the great products! The 2009 season favorite
seemed to be your peanut butter scent balls. It works great for attracting bears
and also works fabulous for scent cover. We saw over 20 bears in a weeks time
this past year. Using the peanut butter scent we were successful in
getting my best friend her first bear on the first day we baited and scented our
stations . The bear came down the trail sniffing from scent ball to scent ball.
None of the bears we saw were aware of anything other than there dreams of
Peanut Butter. I've been using your scents for two years now and can't get over
how well they work. The scent carries almost instantly when you put them out. It
is unbelievable the power of these attractant scents. As spring approaches and
we start gearing up for the spring bait season my first stop is Bait Em 907 !

I hunted with a buddy who had one of Bait Em 907's bells in the bacon flavor on
his stand. He also had anise gel balls spread around the trail coming into his
stand. We were sitting about 100 yds off last night. I could smell the anise in
the air. I got lucky and shot this 5'9" blackie while I was out last night.
Another one about the same size was in about 5 minutes prior to mine but we
scared him off. The trail cam has 2 others tearing up the stand.

Pete had over 30 bears on his station! |
Jess,
" with one of Jess' bait bells has been positive. This has
been my first time baiting. two friends & I set up 3 baits along the Susitna
River - all within a mile of each other just off the river. We set the baits on
Thursday the 14th. Dan & I hunted on Saturday night - the 16th - nothing had
been hit. On Monday - 5/18, Dan & Dave set up a camp & hunted Monday & Tuesday -
no hits. they only checked "their" 2 baits and didn't look at mine (don't know
why they didn't, but their loss
).
I went out with them on Wednesday and when I got to my stand, it was empty -
cleaned out. A note of interest - I was the only bait that included a bait bell
(anise) from Jess. I added some dog food & settled in for the wait. At 9:45 pm,
this sow showed up and was successfully arrowed. She squared 5' 5" - beautiful
coat.
Thanks for making a great product! Gary |

2009 Black Bear Hunt
Tyonek Lodge
Alaska
Paralyzed Veterans
Association

Jess,
We are up tp 12 black bears and I have a new group coming out on Wednesday this
week. Myself and a few of the sponsors are taking break from camp and we flew to
kenai to spend a day fishing out of Seward and hopefully we can cook up some
halibut for the next group.
Thanks again, Doug
Just a quick note to let you know the bait
bells, spray scents etc have worked great. The days were slow around the bait
stations prior to and the first couple of days of the hunt with the soldiers
that began on May 20th. In the past 2 days since hanging the bait bells the guys
have managed to take 5 black bears as well as have numerous encounters with
brownies at a number of the bait stations. Last night I was with one of our
wheelchair hunters and we had a huge brownie and a smaller sow step out of the
woods 25 yards in front of our ground blind and as you might imagine it was a
very tense situation, the big boar looked at our blind and woofed and just
stared for a few seconds and then thankfully turned and went towards the bait
station and then hung around for roughly 20 minutes. I have most every minute of
this encounter on video and it turned out great. I will keep you posted when I
can, I will be flying back into Anch about once a week to to take out a new
group of hunters, this is the only time I have internet access.
Thanks Doug
Something I neglected to mention in my first
post was that Jess donated every bait bell, spray, gel balls etc for this great
hunt, I apologize for making such a HUGE mistake in that post.

The Color Brown

In this little poem
of mine, brown looks like the birch bark shavings falling to the ground as you
are climbing up a tree to sit in the most uncomfortable seat of all to get the
hunting season treat.
Oh my, come quick, hold your fire. Can't you

can't , look straight ahead about 30 yards away, let | |
